Designing a service-driven solution to restore fresh, affordable food access for urban communities in Downtown Atlanta, GA.

Downtown Atlanta serves as a grocery desert, with less than half (44%) of small food stores in Atlanta offering fresh produce.

Invest Atlanta has pledged $2.5 million to increase food access across the city. The Mayor of Atlanta came to SCAD to re-imagine the former Walgreens next to Woodruff Park into a grocery store offering equitable access to fresh food.
